Vegatable Lego Blocks

Posted May 21st, 2012 by dannibear

Could it Be? The Homemade “Lena Burger”?

Posted April 17th, 2012 by Lena!

Alas, nope. I am SO sad right now. Satisfied, but sad. Here’s the scoop: this past weekend, my husband joyfully announced that he had found a recipe online that claimed to be a dupe of Harvey’s hamburgers. Mmm… Harvey’s. Flavourful, juicy beef… charbroiled to perfection on an open-flame grill… yes, it’s a beautiful thing. Gleefully, he [...]

Eggs Santiago Recipe

Posted April 16th, 2012 by Marilyn

I’ve often been surprised how recipes come and go from my life. For weeks or years, I will return to a recipe time and again, and then for no reason that I am aware of, it will *poof* out of my life. Sometimes I will stumble upon these recipes years later and be struck by [...]

One of the most difficult adjustments I have had to make when it comes to cooking for my family, is learning how to get around the No Gluten rule for my husband. To be honest, I often make two meals for us – one without gluten and one regular meal with gluten – just because [...]

My three-year-old daughter is continuing her love of all things baking, so we decided to try out [...]

My three-year-old daughter recently received a cookbook all of her very own, and since that time has fallen into deep love with baking. My husband and I love film. And while we will likely always love film, we haven’t been able to see as much grown-up movies as we would like to lately. Before we had children, my husband and I were avid fans of cinema. Not only did we enjoy film, we had the time to be [...]

The best bacon cheeseburger ever…

Posted February 14th, 2012 by ByGraceAlone

It was spectacular!

She made sure not to squish the patty while forming the burger. If you make your burgers fluffy, they will hold in all the…
