Dear Readers;

Over the last several years we here at the “Perspective Research Department” have done exhaustive studies on the state of modern Russia since the fall of the Soviet Union. We have concluded that in spite of some misguided policies, it would be to Mother Russia’s advantage to further integrate itself with NATO and the European Community!

To have everyone in the United States, Canada and Europe present a united front to other power blocks seems to be nothing more than common sense, and in spite of difficulties in the E.U. at this time it would behoove Russia to realize where their interests lie, and align themselves with countries that share a common heritage and interest.

It is therefore with considerable regret that we must reconsider our support for allowing Russian entry into NATO and the E.U. unless there is a change in their foreign policy vis a vis Syria.

It would make sense for Putin and his minions to place more emphasis on their relationship with their neighbours, rather than a tenuous link with a small client state, but since this is not the case we have no choice but to question a better strategic relationship with Russia!

By the same token we also reaffirm our opposition to Turkish entry into the E.U. since it is:

1. Mostly in Asia, and;

2. A Muslim State in and otherwise Christian political organization!
