Here it is, Christmas Eve, and I’m thinking of family, friends and neighbours that have been in my life this year!

I will keep my thoughts of friends and family private, but let me tell you about my two neighbours here in our condo!

On one side is a woman who is a retired school teacher, and an ardent NDP supporter. This woman is a feminist, socialist, lesbian, atheist and community organizer, who is politically correct at all times, volunteers at the local soup kitchen, is against the death penalty, but all for abortion on demand and increased government spending on social programs.

On the other side of me is an old curmudgeon of a man who is a God fearing church-goer who is retired from his business, votes Conservative, is all for the death penalty and against abortion, and wants the government to leave him alone. He swears like a trooper and couldn’t care less about being politically correct, or the starving millions in Africa.

And here WE are, dear readers, stuck in the middle again!
