Dear Readers;
You might recall that a few days ago your humble servant told you about the conditions up at the Attawapiskat reserve on the shores of Hudson’s Bay.
Well, after extensive research we here at Perspective on Canada have discovered that the situation is much worse than originally believed!
Now I’m not talking about how the people in the isolated community near James have declared a state of emergency as many families in prepare for winter with little more than uninsulated shacks, tents, or mold-infested houses to keep out the cold.
I’m not talking about the lack of drinking water on the reserve.
I’m not talking about all the other signs of extreme poverty that we see all over that settlement.
No sir!
What I’m talking about is how this group of 1293 people can be given 92 million dollars over the last five years and not have a thing to show for it!
Let me repeat that.
Ninety two million dollars!
That’s about $70,000 for every man woman and child on the reserve.
This begs the question………………., what the hell did they do with it?
It’s not like there are a lot of places to spend it up there!
