Pity the poor black kids in Toronto.
While their parents try to better their chances for a productive life, the School Board is condemning them to menial jobs and social marginalization that is not much better than slavery.
Mark my words folks, even though an “Afrocentric” high school will have all those black kids studying black history and culture, it will also have them speaking slang and “gangsta” talk in no time.
Instead of receiving a rounded education, these poor little black kids will be immersed in black culture to the detriment of all else, causing their alienation from mainstream society and a life spent being denied membership in the middle class. If black parents really wanted to help their kids, they would send
them to a “regular”school.
And if these assholes in the “Occupy” movement really wanted to do some good, they would make sure the poor were better educated and given a hand up, instead of trying to tear down the upper class.

I think you are missing my point. The “occupy” movement should concern itself more with the plight of the poor than the greed of the rich.
Either that, or go back to their parents basement.
The OWS has nothing to do with the rest of the article. You made valid points about the subject matter followed by an attack that was completely off tangent. I could write an article about Neo-Nazi resurgence in the southern U.S. then bash OWS for not focusing on racial harmony. Or an article on obesity and diabetes and blame the basement dwellers for not making that the focus. Write an article on how the dirty hippy tent city people are misguided and non-deodoranty but it really doesn’t belong as a post script to an otherwise well written article.
What’s with the commentary about OWS in bold? “Assholes”? I think you miss the point about the occupy movement. Their entire point is that the 1% are getting massively rich while programs such as education are getting cut out from under the working class.
